It used to be on Vox.
The interesting stuff, that is. The community, Antonella. The photo archive of our digital life. The music. The videos.
SixApart's VOX platform [was good].
Interestling, [this is good] (in french [j'aime]) was invented much earlier than the "like" and "+1" buttons.
When it closed down, sept 30 2010, we (sort of) all moved to type pad. Not so feature-rich, but the "community was there".
For a few months.
Than we all moved everywhere, so now our "content" is spread all over the place, fb, twit pic, flickr, Google+, you name it (if you can).
Which means -- if now I want to go back in time in my life, I can do it very easily for the period 2007-2010 (by looking at the "imported-into-typepad" vox blogs. But after that...not really.
This is my last post on type pad. I did not write anything else after that, and it has no comments.
Very little incentive in going on blogging.
A Rolling Blog for a post-VOX era?
Very little incentive in going on blogging.
But still, I feel a need to keep a rolling, simple, sequential, page-able archive of images and thoughts.
Is Tumblr the right platform? Is this rising star, quick and elegant --- but still, another new one - a solution ?
I don't know. I'll give it a try, while keeping a parallel post to type pad: innice.tumblr.com
Let's' see.
