This is a movie that deserve to be seen on a very large screen, with a very good sound and possibly in all-digital mode.
So we went to the Cathedral again, on a rainy saturday night yesterday.
Well, much - probably all - has been written about this movie already, so I'll focus on only two points..
Image and Audio Perfection.
This is an all-digital production, something rare to see. Most "digital" film are really shoot on film, and then scanned into 2k digital master. But this was filmed in digital, with the incredible "RedOne" camera. Ar at least part of it were (some images were "HD" - and it was easy to see the difference, expecially in the depth of colors, and some in SD television - frames were smaller in these cases).
Having the possibility to see it at Arcadia, with a Christie Digital 2K projector, with 7 channels of audio, in a THX equipped theatre is really something.

But the big part was audio. the dynamic range, the clear sound was really something. It has to be noted that in digital cinema there is no audio compression, no "mp3" or whatever: it is pure digital, uncompressed sound.
So this presentation with a movie that can drive one to tears resulted in applause after every song, in people crying "I love you", and ended in love, love for him, for his music and for our world.
Which is what MJ was telling us.
So I think he succeeded. Thank you Mike.
Our media system
And this is the other point.
The media, the worldwide media, has told us for years about a different MJ, one who slept with children, addicted to drugs, one who wasted all his money, totally isolated from the rest of the world and so on.
But looking at this film we can clearly see it was not so.
I'm of course sure the children were sent to his house by "parents" who wanted to be able to sue him and steal some of his money,
But all the other stories?
I already knew this for Italian press (or media system in general), but now I think it is clear for the worldwide media system: We cannot trust the press, we cannot trust the media, we're better switch it all off.
And go discover the truth on our own, on the web or directly, personally, when this is possible.

We exited the theatre with tears on our faces. Yes, this was it.
